went to hakim's house today for another round of soccer again. haha we are always going to his house or school for soccer i guess cause there is no other place. soccer is my passion. nah not realli. but the feeling of just saving a ball from entering the net is like oomph. so orgasmic. just like basketball i suppose. only thing is people acknowledge me as a good goalie but a basketball player... man i stink. the true aim to join sports; improve on my skills as a basketball player but i ended up playing soccer as well. im not complaining tho. i always become the goalie. is that a bad thing? i dunno. there is a lot of pressure on you as the goalie. man those defenders have it easy i think. ah well just have to keep on training. jia you!
reached home and took a bath. felt great. skipped breakfast and lunch. wondering if im getting any thinner. anorexic? so what. whatever it takes. anyways was reading the popular catalogue or somethin. there was this feature they did on vincent ng's book; TEN i think. man, that guy lean and has a sculpted body. AND i can achieve that in TEN weeks if i follow the regime in his book. neat huh. wow. *dreaming* eh so i was feeling sleepy and yet couldn't sleep so i kinda watched some TV. actually it was my kid bro who was watching it so i was kinda forced to sit through and watch his boring shows which still didn't make me sleep. must have been the weather.
so like later on around 5pm my ma ventured that we both go on a secret trip to Ikea which recently opened nearby. after getting rid of my bro after all. ah lets call him kenji. better. anyways after kenji left for my cousin's house to play the ps2, we went on foot to Ikea. if you still don't know, its located near MJC, West Plaza, Siglap Secondary and a Wafer Fabrication Plant. look at the map or somethin. so from block 742, we walked under the *descrip[sweltering hot afternoon sun and traversed miles upon miles of dusty hard pavement while braving the noisy traffic. the glaring blinding light from the burning sun was irritating me.] :p ok not so descriptive ill come up with better next time. horrors a next time. (*O*)!! well the place was damn packed with people here and there. hmm crying babies, middle aged aunties, bengs and lians, and HUGE groups of families. im talking like HUGE. maybe about 12 people? so i thought like hmm this could be boring as hell but how to show filial piety if never follow. ok so we went around. the place was nice. of course even after buying furniture from there, your house probably wont turn out like the nice design and layout like that at Ikea. like i said, the place was nice. and cool too. again, the small kids, nasty little brats they are, [man im sure i wasn't that rude] ran here and there. mummy here mummy there shouting. JUMPING on the beds. i was like WTF?! isn't this a public place. not your father's shop la boy. parents these days. dunno how to like scold their children. must have gotten married early. if only you were there...ah thank god for chio bus; a sight for sore eyes. anyways if it wasn't for the crowd, the place sure is more enjoyable. it could even be like taking a holiday. so on to the cafeteria. the place was packed to the max. the seats were full, the queue was long and the wait even longer. so we skipped to the next part which was the... ah yes the taking-of-things-you-want and putting-it-into-your-yellow-bag. so we took a pair of rugs, some boxes, a mirror for me. [how vain :p] oh and some stuff which i rather not tell. lets just say brushes. so we checked them out at the cashier. and guess what. we had to pack it ourselves. the cashier simply scans the items and takes the money. it was my first time so it was pretty exciting. i mean i had to rush to pack my stuff while the cashier simply tosses the items my way. and the items of the guy in the queue before me. so people everywhere were dumping in their stuff as quickly as possible into their Ikea plastic bags. so we finally ended the trip and made back for home. aahh... btw, the bloddy sun was still there and burning.
so i was hugging this huge cardboard box in my left hand and a mirror [mine] in the right hand. walking back. remember the dusty pavement and noise pollution? still there. so ok nvm. my ma was hungry so ok we went to West Plaza Koufu to eat. we had western food. my grilled fish and my ma's chicken grilled? so i trudged home feeling tired and here's the funny part. maybe not funny. my ma supposedly placed the bag containing the rug on the floor and forgot to pick it up. she probably nonchalantly walked out and well opened the main gate. the plastic bag? in the lift. me? i went out of the lift first. so byebye rugs. im sure whoever got them will be like woohoo like striking 4D. so lucky for him. so suay for me. unbelievable...
so like its time to log off. hope that could make this a habit. i have a history of not completing my pet projects. not committed. :p hmm how to sign off... Han. yea that woulda be cool. ja ne,
Han
